Scott always cracked up when an old co-worker of his would say, "I'm just talking out loud here..." during meetings, so yeah- we say that now :)
Anyway, first I have to admit that at this very moment (11.:21pm) I'm up way to late knitting and sewing and, wait for it,...watching a re-run of Real Housewives of NYC. Wowza. That's a whole other post but here's my food for thought for the night-
One of the characters was just discussing getting ultrasound treatments in her armpits to stop sweating problems. I don't know exactly what the ultrasound treatment is doing to stop her sweat glands from producing sweat or what exactly is going on there. Again, a whole other post on that.
All I keep thinking is that we use the same technology used to stop sweat glands from producing (amongst other things) routinely on almost all babies in America. At least once in every pregnancy. Just to make sure. Not because we have cause for concern, but rather to catch anything we should have been concerned about (but didn't notice in our thirteen second appointments) or possibly could be concerned about- just to add stress to the pregnancy without any additional guidance. Or, just to see if there are boy or girl parts floating around in there.
I'm getting another glass of wine.
